Don’t Let Nosy People Intimidate You!
I have dealt with a nosy Doctor, I swiftly put her in her place and explained it’s none of her business! They did dismiss my child for this reason, too! So, I no longer deal with SAHRA Clinics! They also called CPS on me, I was told by their clinic’s main office, the lady there asked me if I dealt with CPS yet? She asked me this when I called to see about getting him into another SARHA clinic. When the lady told me this I was astonished because she has the nerve to question me?
She wasn’t even a doctor she was a Nurse Practitioner, we never got to see the Doctor there. But she went as far as to try and make my son write on the paper they pull down to cover the bed. I told her none of this is necessary, we are here for his allergies and asthma medicine, which ended that. She didn’t like me one bit at this point either and I felt the same. Let me add if these people knew so much and what was good for my son, they never diagnosed my son correctly as far as Autism goes. That took going to a new doctors office, I already kinda knew it, so it wasn’t a shock to me. He’s had problems since birth, he’s my world, my one and only and I will be the one responsible for his EVERYTHING! As well as my husband, his Dad!
When speaking to CPS I told them to pull the records that Kelli(NP) wrote about my son, household water, and curriculum. She asked me point blank if we had well water or city water. I told her city water, in the records she wrote both city and well water. She asked if we had a curriculum and I told her yes. She wrote Parent does have a curriculum and then beneath it wrote parent doesn’t have a curriculum. I was flabbergasted! There were several more things she completely contradicted herself with. She was really very ignorant and went beyond what she should have. She has No right to question anyone’s choice in their child’s education. I showed CPS the record the clinic gave me and they laughed and dismissed the report without issue!
That doctors office went too far, honestly. It makes me trust a doctors office less, because I don’t know what they may do. I wouldn’t have ever known about CPS being called had I not contacted the SAHRA Clinic’s main office, and was asked if I dealt with CPS. Which, after speaking to them, I personally called CPS and questioned them and dealt with them accordingly. Haven’t had any issues since, but I do limit answers to people in some situations because, in reality, it’s none of their business. I have learned to nicely put nosy people in their place!
