Color and Shape Hunt
Materials Needed:
- Various colored objects and different shaped items from around the house
- Baskets or bags to collect items
- Color and shape flashcards
Object of the Game:
To find and collect the most objects that match the color or shape on the flashcard.
Instructions:
- Each child draws a flashcard from a pile that depicts a specific color or shape.
- They then have to find and collect as many objects of that color or shape as they can within a set time limit.
- The child who collects the most matching items wins that round.
- Repeat until all flashcards have been used.
This game is great for color and shape recognition and can be easily adapted for different learning themes.
