You should Take the Test in One Sitting
The SAT should last around 4 hours, it is a race against time. That’s how you’ll take it when it’s time. A lot of students do have a hard time staying focused during the entire time. But just try to keep from making careless mistakes and try to stay focused.
When you are preparing for the SAT it’s a lot like training for a race. You’ll need to be able to sit through the entire test. A lot of folks just don’t have the stamina, but there are those who do and they succeed. The best way to do this is practice, so when you take the practice test make sure to take it in one sitting.
If you can’t seem to sit for the whole practice test in one sitting, just do it over a couple of hours or even days, but using the same time frame allowed for each subject. In the end, it’s better to sit and do the whole SAT at once though.
How Many Times Should I Take the Practice Tests before the actual SAT test?
I would say take it at least four times, this will give you more of an idea about how well you’ll do on the actual SAT test. It’ll also help you become comfortable for taking the test.
