Policy & Terms of Service

Please read carefully before enrolling. This policy may change at any given time — you should always re-read before signing.

No Refunds Policy

Once payment has been made and your enrollment is processed, services are rendered immediately. We do NOT offer refunds of any kind. Your documents are created and your child(ren) are enrolled upon receipt of payment. By submitting payment, you agree that you understand and accept this policy.

Enrollment & Re-Enrollment Responsibilities

I understand that it is my responsibility to re-enroll my students each year without being contacted by anyone from ACS.
I understand that email reminders to re-enroll from ACS are a courtesy only and I know my students need to be re-enrolled each year.
I do NOT hold ACS accountable or responsible if I fail to re-enroll my students.
I understand that it is not the responsibility of ACS to call each parent because they have not re-enrolled.
As a homeschooling parent, you do not want to have truancy issues — so you re-enroll before August 15th each year.
I understand that I must re-enroll every year between June and August 15th using the re-enrollment form only.
I understand that it is my responsibility as a parent to re-enroll without being called or continuously emailed.
I understand that enrollment does not transfer — if a child moves in with another parent, family member, or friend, a new enrollment is required.
I agree and understand that the enrollment fee covers only those children being enrolled with ACS at this time.

Parent Responsibilities

I agree it is my responsibility to educate and teach my children at home.
I acknowledge responsibility for choosing my child's curriculum for each school year.
I will keep and maintain a record of grades and work completed for each child.
I understand that ACS 100% places all of the responsibility of the education of my child on me, the parent.
I do NOT hold ACS, the administrator, staff members, or volunteers liable for the education of my child, including purchasing of curriculum, grading, or testing.
I release Alabama Church School from ALL responsibility and/or liability for the education, social, and physical well-being of my child(ren).
I understand that I am responsible for buying books, planning curriculum, and keeping records of grades and work completed.

Communication & Records

I agree to contact the administrator if any of my contact information changes during the school year, or if I decide to withdraw from ACS.
I agree and understand that I must use the Family Information Form if anything changes in my current living situation, phone number, or email address.
I give the administrator authorization to report to our public school superintendent should my child(ren) cease enrollment with ACS.
I understand that if I withdraw from ACS, I will be required to request records for a new school by submitting grades and required fees.

Transcripts & Grades

I agree that I will submit grades to ACS so that an official high school transcript can be prepared and sent out in a timely fashion.
I understand that I will not be supplied with a transcript without the applicable fees and submission of proper forms.
I understand and have read the ACS policy on student record keeping and transcripts.

Refund Policy

There is NO refund if I withdraw my child from the school at any time during the school year, as services are rendered upon enrolling or re-enrolling. There are NO refunds — I agree that I understand this when signing the enrollment form.
There is NO refund in general, at all. Once payment has been made, my child(ren) will be enrolled in ACS and services are considered rendered.
There are NO refunds on transcript orders, diploma orders, or any other services once submitted.

ACS Rights & Dismissal Policy

I understand that ACS reserves the right to dismiss a student at any time while enrolled if deemed necessary. The following are reasons for dismissal:

Not re-enrolling in a timely manner by August 15th each year
Not paying bounced check fees or clearing them up in a timely manner
Failure to report any address or phone number changes

High School Requirements

The following applies to high school students only:

I understand that if my child is a graduating student, I am required to submit the senior package fees by December 15th.
I will submit an attendance sheet to ACS upon withdrawal or graduation.
I have read the information offered for the diplomas and understand what is required for each one.
I know a student must have ACT testing to apply to colleges and will apply for testing through the ACT testing website.
I know certain subjects must be completed for Academic and College Prep Diplomas and take full responsibility in having my child complete them.

General Information

I understand that ACS is not state accredited.
I understand what to do if a truant officer or public school personnel ask about my enrollment or other educational decisions. (See FAQ)
I agree that processing time can take up to 2 business days. ACS allows 48 business hours to complete paperwork and send it out.
